Prof. Dong ist seit 2003 als TCM-Therapeut am Spital Zollikerberg tätig. Er studierte Traditionelle Chinesische Medizin an der TCM-Universität in GuangXi und hatte dort auf der Akupunkturabteilung verschiedene Funktionen inne. Von 1997 bis 2003 war er Vize-Chefarzt und Vize-Professor der Akupunkturabteilung.
