In 2014, 2016 und 2018, Farhad Hafezi was voted onto the “Power List”, a list of the top 100 most influential ophthalmologists in the world. Farhad Hafezi was born in 1967 und grew up in Fribourg (Switzerland). He studied medicine in Fribourg and Berne. Hafezi holds professorships on 3 continents: University of Geneva (Switzerland), University of Southern California (USC) Los Angeles, and at Wenzhou University (China). He is internationally recognized as a pioneer in corneal cross-linking. Prof. Hafezi has so far received 24 national and international awards and distinctions in ophthalmology.
