Andrology covers all areas of medicine dealing with male reproductive functions (e.g. infertility, erectile dysfunction, or hormonal imbalances). Depending on the problem, a detailed diagnostic plan is created. Typically, blood and sperm quality are analysed, and hormonal status is determined. A treatment regimen can then be determined. In some cases, treating the infection is sufficient. In other cases, additional treatment is necessary.
